Update The migration has been pushed back until Monday, March 24th.

We have completed preparations for migrating positron to new hardware. The expected downtime is going to be roughly 3-4 hours. We are currently planning on the outage taking place this Monday, March 24th, starting at 1 pm PDT (UTC -7), with service resuming by 5 pm. This time was chosen as a result of hearing from a number of customers that their sites are busiest in the evening hours. We do, however, welcome feedback about the timing of this outage.

While there is no “good” time to have an outage, if you can suggest a time that is least disruptive for your sites we will take these comments into account and attempt to accommodate the greatest number of customers. If the current planned time is good for you please let us know that as well so that we can have an accurate account of user preferences when planning the outage. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the planned outage yesterday did not take place. However, Positron has been well behaved the last few days so hopefully there won’t be any major issues in the near future. We will put up an announcement once we have a revised date.
